Postnatal trainings in 4 questions
02
How long shall I exercise with postnatal training before returning to regular classes?
Usually, around 3 months or 10 to 12 postnatal training sessions are recommended before returning to regular fitness classes. It is very important to listen to your body too, and ask your doctor for advice if you have any doubts.
04
How does Anna.Fit postnatal training work?
- You book 10-sessions postnatal training
- You have 4 months to use your sessions (yes, you need flexibility with your baby!)
- Price: CHF 375 for 10 sessions (can be partly covered by the health insurance)
01
Why is the postnatal training important?
Your body goes through a massive transformation through pregnancy: internal organs, soft tissue and skin are all stretched to make space for the growing baby.
Postnatal training will help you restore your physical health and will also help to improve the sleep quality, relieve the stress as well as prevent postnatal depression. Furthermore, it is extremely important to strenghten your pelvic floor muscles to prevent issues such as incontinence.
Not to forget the best part: you will not only have quality “mum-time” but also make new mum-friends!
03
When can I start?
You can start your postnatal training 6 to 8 weeks after giving birth naturally or 8 to 10 weeks after a c-section.

Baby Massage in 4 questions
02
Can dads participate too?
We encourage both parents to participate in Baby Massage classes. This gives your baby a chance to bond with each parent in his/her own way. Fathers and mothers often develop different styles and unique ways to interact with their babies, and these classes are a great opportunity for both parents to form a life-long bond with their child.
04
Why does the class last 5 weeks?
We like to introduce babies to massage at their own pace. We watch their cues and introduce new strokes gradually, week-to-week. During my Baby Massage classes, you will be introduced to new information each week and build on previously taught techniques. Classes are designed to build relationships between parent and baby to instill trust and create positive associations. Long-term training sessions also encourage engagement between parents fostering opportunities for ongoing support and friendships long after the classes are over.
01
Why should I attend an infant massage class?
Learning together with other parents from a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) is a hands-on, interactive and personal experience. IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage) instructors teach each of the strokes one-by-one so you will feel comfortable and confident that you are doing them correctly. During an Baby Massage class, you will also benefit from the interaction, knowledge and experience of other parents.
03
What kind of oil should I use?
It is recommended to use vegetable oil, which is preferably organic and cold pressed with minimal odor to preserve yours, as yours is your baby’s favorite scent. You will get a small oil bottle during the class.
