Postnatal trainings in 4 questions

02

How long shall I exercise with postnatal training before returning to regular classes?

Usually, around 3 months or 10 to 12 postnatal training sessions are recommended before returning to regular fitness classes. It is very important to listen to your body too, and ask your doctor for advice if you have any doubts.

04

How does Anna.Fit postnatal training work?

  • You book 10-sessions postnatal training
  • You have 4 months to use your sessions (yes, you need flexibility with your baby!)
  • Price: CHF 350.- for 10 sessions (soon: recognized by the health insurances)

01

Why is the postnatal training important?

Your body goes through a massive transformation through pregnancy: internal organs, soft tissue and skin are all stretched to make space for the growing baby.

Postnatal training will help you restore your physical health and will also help to improve the sleep quality, relieve the stress as well as prevent postnatal depression. Furthermore, it is extremely important to strenghten your pelvic floor muscles to prevent issues such as incontinence.

Not to forget the best part: you will not only have quality “mom-time” but also make new mom-friends!

03

When can I start?

You can start your postnatal training 6 to 8 weeks after giving birth naturally or 8 to 10 weeks after a c-section.
